JOCCOLE "JC" BURTON,

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

JocCole "JC" Burton, LEED AP BD+C, is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Maven Construction, the full service general contracting firm under the Woodline Solutions umbrella. Maven Construction, a women-owned Boston, Massachusetts based company provides full service general construction management, energy solution and energy retrofits in the built environment.   Over her 20+ year career, Ms. Burton has acquired invaluable expertise from the most competitive general contractors where she has completed more than 65 projects with more than a billion dollars of construction.  

Her expertise in high-performing green projects stems from directing more than 40 LEED new construction and energy retrofit projects where geothermal, solar arrays and solar farms are reducing traditional energy sources on average of 23%.

Her leadership is recognized by industry peers and organizations. Ms. Burton has won numerous industry awards including the coveted Associated Builders & Contractor’s Eagle Award, White House Champion of Change, Clean Energy, Women’s Magazine Business of the Year, ABL Non-Traditional Business of the Year, Associated General Contractors and Urban Land Institute, among others.

Ms. Burton brings these experiences and her personal commitment to excellence to every opportunity. She attended the University of California, Berkeley and has a MBA Certificate of Finance & Accounting from Georgia State University.

IDA NEAL SMITH

CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Ida Neal Smith brings over 18 years of construction experience to her role as COO of Maven Construction. While her specialty is multifamily construction where she has served as a construction project manager, quality controls manager and entrepreneur, Ms. Neal Smith is committed to efficient business processes.

As Chief Operations Officer, Ms. Neal Smith leads the development of construction services. She employs strong management control tools to oversee the costs, business planning, and project planning to ensure that the operations team is implementing effectively on all projects.

Prior to joining Maven Construction, Ms. Neal Smith has led construction teams at Courtland Partners, Trammel Crow Residential and Woodline Solutions.

Ms. Neal Smith attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing a Bachelors of Science in Management as a student athlete. She is also a member of the Georgia Basketball Hall of Fame.

ROBERT BOTELHO, JR.

VP of Business Development & Partnerships

Robert Botelho, Jr. is a retired agent for the US Department of Justice. As an excellent critical thinking, Mr. Botelho has been an operational leader for over 27 years.  Mr. Botelho brings valuable experience in risk mitigation and management of diverse cross-functional teams to his role as Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships at Maven Construction. 

Mr. Botelho holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and a Master of Arts in International Relations from Salve Regina University.

MIchelle Larkin,

Operations Manager

Ms. Larkin is a dynamic operational manager, responsible for supporting governance and oversight of the field operations while expanding the business footprint through data management and strategic planning at Maven Construction.  Ms. Larkin's career has spanned over 20 years where she has had specific responsibility in leading several groups specializing in value engineering, contract administration, business development, marketing and client communications.

Ms. Larkin has received a Bachelors of Arts and Masters of Business Administration from Averett University.

TARA BROWN

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING 

Tara Brown, the interim Director of Marketing (DM), provides leadership and management to implement the brand vision that is needed. Ms. Brown has served in this role previously with Woodline Solutions, Phoenix Leadership Foundation, Greenwood Archer and  Trammel Crow Residential among others.

Ms. Brown will be responsible for the effective and efficient creation of marketing collateral, website development and social media strategies. The Director of Marketing will strive to build a dynamic marketing team, use Maven's GRIT process to recruit a team of creative and driven talent and to help attract profitable client projects.  The Director of Marketing is a key member of the management team, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer with collaboration of the entire Management Team. 

Ms. Brown is a graduate of the University of Georgia, holding a Bachelors of Arts in Communications & Marketing.


ADVISORS

Maven Construction will utilize an effective advisory board prior to the full development of a Corporate Board of Directors.  The Advisory Board will provide non-binding but informed guidance and serve as a tremendous ally in the quest for superior corporate governance.

This Advisory Board has been hand selected by the Maven Management team to provide strategic advice and serve as an organized gateway for success.

LOOKMAN BUKY FOLAMI, PH.D.

Lookman Buky Folami teaches multinational graduate level accounting at Bryant University. Dr. Folami has served on a raft of Bryant committees that allowed him to refine the accounting curriculum, serve as a mentor to students, and select candidates for faculty searches. This work won him a University service award in 2010. Dr. Folami also serves as a board member or advisor for the Rhode Island Association of CPAs, the National Association of Black Accountants, and the Rhode Island Coalition Against Domestic Violence. Dr. Folami is a prolific researcher and writer, publishing on a potpourri of topics that share one thread, accounting practicality. Dr. Folami has run an active consulting practice, offering expert advice in forensic accounting, general accounting, and financial management to companies in several sectors.

CELIA M. GRANT

Native Bostonian, Celia M. Grant is the Vice President of Marketing at Associated Industries of Massachusetts and management, marketing and graphic design experience to help develop the company's first-ever marketing department. She currently creates and implements traditional and digital marketing strategies for organization-wide initiatives, events, communications, publications, and business development. Ms. Grant serves as Co-Chair of the Energy & Fuel Assistance Committee on the Action for Boston Community Development.  Ms. Grant holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting & Printmaking from Brandeis University.
